Former England striker, Michael Owen, is backing Manchester United to progress in the Champions League ahead of their final group-stage match against RB Leipzig.
United were beaten 3-1 by Paris Saint-Germain last week, which means they need to avoid defeat in Germany on Tuesday, to qualify for the Round of 16.
“Leipzig quite simply need to win. I reckon if they attack United, they could leave themselves exposed at the back and pay the ultimate price against a side that seem to be at their best when playing on the counter-attack.
“RB Leipzig 1-2 Manchester United,” Owen told BetFair.
Chelsea have already qualified for the knockout rounds and host Krasnodar tonight.
Owen expects Frank Lampard’s men to continue on their fine run.
“Both sides come into the game on a high and you’d expect both managers to tinker with their sides.
“That said, Chelsea have huge strength in depth, and I expect them to finish off the group stages strongly.”
