The vice-chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Prof. Felix Salako, has said that it would resume academic activities on January 18th, 2021, despite the institution’s earlier stance on universities not being ready to cope with the challenges posed by COVID-19.
Salako disclosed this while addressing a press conference, in Abeokuta, dismissing claims earlier made by the ASUU Chairman in the institution, Dr. Adebayo Oni, who had said physical lectures with students would be disastrous citing the rise in COVID-19 cases.
